We are the Year 3 & 4 class at Warmington School.
‘Brilliant’ Badgers are taught by Miss Ibotson and supported by Mrs Dunkley. We are also taught by specialist teachers: Madame Kernick for French and Ms Ranson for PE.

We love our learning and enjoy sharing our work with you- please feel free to comment on our blog. We always reply (Please remember to use our initial and not our names!)  and enjoy hearing that our friends and relatives from around the world are finding out about our learning journey in our wonderful school!

Friday 3rd April

Hello Badgers!

Thank you for all your emails and photos this week- it’s great to see you having so much fun with your learning and some lovely photos of your smiling faces!

We missed singing Happy Birthday in our class too.

(Apologies for late blogging but I had a technical difficulty – a mislaid charger for the I pad but all has been rectified!)

Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend and keep sending happy photos (in the sunshine hopefully!)

Miss I xx

Wednesday 1st April

We made it to April Badgers (hope you didn’t play too many April Fools jokes this morning!)

Some fantastic photos of home learning today- science and shark investigations, super Easter cards, Greek goddess creations, Greek mazes, beautiful rainbow chalking in the sunshine, toontastic animation, music appreciation, amazing maths and some super scary Greek spear making, more wonderful Spring poems (and a new hair colour for a year 4!)

Year 3 should be at the Frontier Centre today so I’ve uploaded a few more fun things to do not the website and a year 4 has written some extra challenge questions for the end of the week quiz.

Well done on all you are doing and it’s great to see such happy faces!😊

Tuesday 31st March

Hello everyone!

Badgers have been busy today writing Spring poems, making Easter cards and working out with Joe Wicks (even Oreo the cat!) and some great cookery skills coming along.

I managed to go for a run this afternoon to Stoke Doyle (the roads were very quite) and saw lots of blossom and some cowslips and lots of rabbits. Our favourite move with Joe Wicks this morning was the skiing one and we liked the George Ezra soundtrack🙂

Keep sending the photos, videos and happy spring news!

Miss I ☀️

Friday 27th March

Well done to you all- our first week of Badgers home learning completed!

I have been sent some wonderful photos and accounts of your learning journeys this week; these include some amazing baking (made me very hungry!) lots of Joe Wicks, obstacle courses in gardens, finding out about the human body, taking an old computer apart ( with a parent!) and finding out how it works, amazing art, rainbows all over, super successful spelling tests and group chats and quizzing….as well as writing, maths…..most of all I’ve loved hearing the positive comments about how you have been helping around the house and working with siblings as mums and dads work from home too.

Keep emailing me and sending photos and videos. I’ll upload next week’s work and try to make it as fun as possible! Have a chilled weekend and I’ll find more internet links for fun stuff and write another quiz.

Miss I. ☺️

Thursday 26th March

Hi Badgers and thank you for sending me lots of great photos- it’s been amazing to see your work and some of the fins skills you are trying out! Wonderful effort and lots of exercise! ☀️

In our house we did some Shoo Rayner drawing tutorials ( the boys hid theirs as they weren’t very good) and we took part in an ‘online punk quiz’ which was fun (the boys side won!)

I thought I would write a quiz for Friday/ the weekend so you could play against people in your house ( there will be Badgers advantages!). I will upload it to Badgers ‘home learning’ on the school website.

Have fun and keep emailing & sending photos,
Miss I xxx
