Look at our amazing sculptures!
Although it was a cold wet day in Warmington it was still fun for Badgers!
We started off by having a visit by two year 2’s who came to show us their amazing Chinese New Year homework!
We practised our assembly and then it was time for French.
Even wet break was fun. Callie and James brought in ‘Happy Families’ which was great fun.
We are going to continue our science experiment tomorrow, predicting what will happen with water at different temperatures.
Have a look at Adam’s spectacular battleship he brought in to show Badgers!
Basketball skills are really coming on nicely too! Rob’s shoulder is getting better!
We had a very interesting guest speaker in our school today; Mr Nicolas Kernick came to talk to Badgers and Foxes about his amazing adventures cycling all the way across Asia from Istanbul to Shanghai! We were so interested in his fantastic PowerPoint. We learnt all about fantastic foods, friendly people and some magnificent mountains. Nicolas cycled 11,000 km over 120 days and ate sheep’s eyeballs amongst other things!
If you get chance have a look at Nicolas’ blog at
We hope Nicolas will come and visit us again soon to tell us about his next adventures!
We have investigated capacity and tested our theories and estimates by lots of sorting and pouring…we tried not to get too wet!
We had reading buddies at lunchtime. We love hearing stories and looking at our lovely books!
In our book bags we have put invitations to our friends and family assembly at 2.45pm on Friday. We are hoping lots of people can come!
