Monday 31st March

Badgers have been busy rehearsing for their World War Presentation tomorrow.
We hope lots of mums, dads, grandmas and grandpas will be able to join us to share our learning tomorrow at 3.15pm. We have learnt some wartime songs and we will share some of rationed cookery with you! Look out for invitations in our book bags tonight! You might not recognise some of us tomorrow because we will be evacuees for the day!

Wednesday 26th March

This morning we woke to our last day at the Frontier Centre. It has been an incredible time and we feel sad that it has to come to an end. However, we are ready to see our parents and get a good nights sleep. We will definitely miss all the super activities and incredible food.

This morning it was group 3s turn to walk the plank and group 4s turn to enter the maze. While group 1 and 2 had free time to play outside with the equipment.

Followed by archery for group 1, fencing for group 2, Mission impossible for group 3 and indoor climbing for group 4.

We finished with lunch before it was time to go home.
A huge thank you to Miss G from Titchmarsh for organising the trip.

Tuesday 25th March

This morning we all woke up way too early! After we showered, dressed and tidied our rooms we went for a delicious breakfast. Some of us enjoyed a 2 or even 3 course breakfast!!! We needed lots of energy for all the activities today.

First, Group 1 and 2 visited the tuc shop to spend their money on yummy treats and exciting souvenirs. While group 3 had the challenge of the maze and group 4 had to walk the plank!!! Lots of children got very wet and muddy because they fell off the plank, but luckily Lottie and Grace managed to stay dry by trusting each other and giving really good instructions to cross the swamp.
“It was really fun!” whispered Grace. “It was brilliant!” screamed Lottie.

After that group 4 continued their activities with fencing.

While group 2 did indoor climbing, group 3 archery and group 1 mission impossible! We are yet to hear if the mission became possible for them… Watch this space.

“Mission impossible was super fun because you had to try and protect the egg from breaking when it was thrown off the climbing tower. Mine cracked a tiny bit but team lightening bolt managed to do it without a single crack!” explained Faye.

“Archery was really fun, but it did hurt your fingertips a little bit when you pulled back the string.” said Callie.

We had a great lunch after all the energetic activities. Followed by group 3 playing archery. They had an incredible afternoon. This was our favourite activity. The blog followed group 3.

While group 2 completed mission impossible, group 3 indoor climbing and group 1 fencing.
“I found it very exciting doing the rock climbing.” said Sophie.
“There were lots of games

Group 3 and 4 have finished the activities with visiting the tuc shop while group 1 walk the plank and group 2 tackle the maze.

“Me and Luke got a housepoint for the best dive into the stinky swamp while walking the plank.” exclaimed Joel.

We have also had time to chill out in our tidy bedrooms!

We enjoyed our wonderful dinner before a singtastic campfire with Miss G.

“The campfire was fun because of all the super songs we learnt.” said Storm.

Monday 24th March

We have arrived!!!!!

Badgers have settled into their rooms and have made themselves at home, after some VERY active activities already. Some children have enjoyed fencing, indoor climbing, mission impossible, archery followed by walk the plank or the maze. We will get to do all the activities while we are here.

The group followed by the blog and Bilbo today was group 1. We all worked really hard to challenge ourselves to climb higher than we expected. The maze was tricky to find the path in and then back out.

“It was a fantastic experience for us and we might want to do it again when we are older.”

James and Adam enjoyed walk the plank and archery. They said, “We really enjoyed archery, especially the Where’s Wally? (which was a point scoring game)”

Callie very much enjoyed fencing because she won!! “It was really fun!” exclaimed Callie.

“Mission impossible was so hard, we broke two eggs! We were in different teams, Super Seven and Spike. The challenge was to protect the eggs from a fall off the huge climbing tower.” explained Lottie and Grace.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and have just participated in a fun quiz before bedtime, Adam, Joel, Luke and James won! We are all now going to get ready for bed, where hopefully we will all go to sleep very quickly and quietly.
