We finished off some of our tremendous Titanic posters using tag lines, alliteration and persuasive language.
Have a look at Mrs Campo’s super science display ! We found out definitions for our amazing scientific vocabulary!
A really fun day with lots of learning in Badgers!
We ran 1000m in circuits around the playground and field. Jennifer was super fast!
This afternoon Carol from St. John’s Ambulance came to teach us all about first aid. We learnt about bleeding and bandaging, how to open airways and practised putting each other in the recovery position.
We also learnt that 112 is the best and fastest emergency phone number to call from a mobile phone- something that Miss Ibotson will try and remember!
We have a cross country match at Prince William School next week so we started off our morning by measuring out how long 1000m would be. Sophie was very good at estimating.
We found out that a circuit of the whole playground was 200m. How many circuits would we have to complete to run 1000m?
We then looked at symmetry, practising our accurate drawing and measuring and checking with a mirror. We used Photobooth to see if some of us had symmetrical faces!
This afternoon we were treated to a very special show and tell.
Isaac and Jude who are 11 day old twins came to visit their big sisters. Everybody was very excited and lots of the grown ups enjoyed a special cuddle with our extra special visitors! A huge thank you to their mummy for bringing them in!
