What a lot of learning today in Badgers.
Our Big Draw artwork will be hanging in Oundle Church next week so please pop in and have a look!
We learnt to waltz like the passengers on the Titanic and had lots of fun in our French with Madame Kernick.
We also had some more amazing water safety posters to display- come and have a look at the detail and great advice in our classroom!

Tuesday 21st October

“Happy Birthday” to one of our year 3’s who was presented with a card from Mrs Milton!
Some of us were a whizz at columnar addition this morning. We remembered to keep our columns straight and to carry our numbers over.
Mrs Campo’s science experiments this week were all about solutions and filtering. We made solutions from tea, coffee, salt, dye and soil and tried to filter our solutions. We watched a video of Ray Mears making a filter from moss which was a survival technique using a column filter.
We made our own column filter and tried to separate our liquids and solids, using paper towels, cups and cotton wool.

One lucky year 3 brought in a fabulous Titanic book to show us that her grandad had bought from the Titanic exhibition in Belfast.

Monday 20th October

We had some amazing water safety posters produced for homework this week. We listened to Max’s Titanic C.D. and played the Titanic dining game and researched what food was on offer…”it looks yummy ” said Faye ” I would have had grilled ham or scones for breakfast!” ” I would have everything on offer, ” said a hungry looking Robbie!
Badgers had a real treat today: afternoon playtime earned by 2 Badgers exceptional homework!
We are looking at addition vocabulary in maths this week.
