  1. Fabulous assembly Badgers, really proud of you. I’m very impressed with your cooking skills too.
    For those of you keen to recreate the Greek pitta experience at home the recipe is below.
    750g Bread Flour
    2 tsp sugar
    1tsp salt
    20ml oil
    1 tsp instant yeast
    400ml warm water

    Add all dry ingredients to a bowl.
    Make a well and add oil and warm water.
    Mix to a soft dough. (All flours are different so if your dough is too sticky ad a little flour, too hard add a little water)
    Leave to prove somewhere warm – 45 mins minimum.
    Take small child fist sized pieces of dough and roll out to about 3/4cm thickness.
    Place on a greased baking tray.
    Bake in oven at 180 degrees until just starting to colour slightly(5-6 minutes) turn over and bake for 2-3 minutes more. Most of them should start to puff up (but not all do)
    Cool and enjoy!
